Good Morning Parents and Guardians! Today is one of JDMS favorite events, Field Day! All students received a Field Day Shirt that they should wear today. If your child did not receive a shirt, please have them report to the main office first thing in the AM so we can assist them. Lunch will be provided at the field. Water will be on site too but we encourage students to bring a refillable water bottle for the day. Additionally students should wear sunblock, a hat and clothes appropriate for a day of physical activity. Flip Fops and slides will not be permit. Students should wear sneakers. We strongly encourage students to not bring any valuables to the field, phones, electronic devices, air pods, etc...all should be stored in the students' locker. Students who ignore this recommendation will be solely responsible for their items. Looking forward to a great day!

Tomorrow we will administer an NJSLA Simulation to all students. NJSLA (State Assessment) will begin on Thursday. Please remind your children to come to school on time and with their laptops fully charged. Cellphone and Smartphones are not allowed in the testing room and should be placed in students' lockers. It is with great sadness that the Englewood Public Schools announces the passing of Ms. Elizabeth Rosa, a teacher at Grieco Elementary School. JDMS shares our deepest condolences to the Rosa family during this difficult time.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held this Tuesday 2/27/24 (1:45 PM - 3:45 PM) and Wednesday 2/28/24 (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM). There will be early dismissal on both conference days. Conference appointments can be scheduled in the parent portal on Genesis.

Hello Parents and Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder to support the students of JDMS at our Family Paint Night, tonight at 6PM in the JDMS Cafeteria. The paint activity is $10 a canvas. Full Dinner will be provided for free. This is a great event for family members of all ages.
Due to the predicted inclement weather, EPSD will be closed tomorrow, February 13, 2024. All schools and central office will be closed for the day.
